Child Found Alive In North Carolina Apartment After Parents Were Shot And Killed

Police in North Carolina discovered the lifeless bodies of a male and female in Long View over the weekend.

According to ABC 11, the man and woman were found deceased in their apartment home shortly after 1 a.m. on Sunday morning.

At this point, police are calling the scene a murder-suicide, however, the investigation remains open at this time.

Police have released the identities of the deceased individuals. At the time Marquis Lineberger and Shanice Williams were found dead, law enforcement also found a small child at the residence.

The child was not harmed during the ordeal.

More details regarding the case are expected later today.
