Thursday night, a five alarm blaze broke out at an apartment building under construction in downtown Raleigh, NC.

Officials tweeted that the blaze went to five alarms shortly before 6:00 pm local time and that a tower crane had collapsed on the site and that nearby structures were threatened.

Locals took to twitter to share photos and videos of the blaze.

One person was filming the fire and captured the moment the tower crane collapsed…

While it unclear what started the blaze, local news station WRAL reports that nearby buildings have been evacuated and a shelter has been set up at the Church of the Good Shepherd downtown.
