They say good things come to those who wait. But quite frankly, we're done with all that jazz; or should I say Hip Hop?
But alas, don't worry rap rats, 2 Chainz took to Twitter in response to a fan to acknowledge that his latest studio album, Pretty Girls Like Trap Music, was complete.
"It's done! Turned in to @DefJamRecords last week," posted the Atlanta rapper.
Formerly known as Tity Boi in his previous rap life, the reformed rapper also posted a hype video to Instagram that got our insides all tingly, featuring Drake and Pharrell while announcing a release date of June 16, 2017. Drake even paid his own homage to 2 Chainz by calling him one of his favorite rappers of all time. Flattering words from the prince of Hip Hop.
2 Chainz' third studio album was delayed from its original April 7 scheduled release date for unknown reasons. There seems to be some sort of procrastination pattern here after his previous album, B.O.A.T.S II: Me Time, was also delayed back in 2013.
We shall forgive him if, and when, he delivers on his delayed promises.
In the meantime, get ready because Mr. Hairweavekiller is surely set to murder yet another album.
