Born and raised in Orlando, FL. Being a radio announcer wasn't what Lamont visionedas a child.. It just happened....it all began in the Spring of '95 where he was the News Director for Flava 107 currently Kiss 107.7 After a brief stay; Lamont applied with the competition, Joyner Communications 99.1 the Fox, the #1 station in the market. The summer of '97 Swyng was let go because of his Wild and Crazyon-air antics. Swyng received job offers from Wilmington's Coast 97.3 and Greensboro 97.1 WQMG. He packed up and headedto Greensboro... and6 months later the Big Stick came knocking asking for his return. Upon his return he becameone of the Weekend Warriors and Host of a Cool Carolina Nightas well as the Quiet Storm Host for sister station Kiss 107.7 Wouldn't be much longer before Swyng moved back into a prime time slot which he currently holds today. 7 til Midnight on Beasley's Foxy 99. Still pushing buttons and causingchaos with his Wild and Crazy Antics. Swyng show is geared toward the younger audience... You'll hear a lot of singing, trivia, give-aways, prank calls, parodies, rapping, and topics facing our teens. Some people never learn from their past...one for sure is Lamont Swyng.
