Authorities have tracked a bank robbery suspect from Spring Lake to Fayetteville. Police said the robbery happened at the Spring Lake PNC bank off highway 87 just before 10:00 a.m. Wednesday. A GPS tracker led authorities to the parking lot of Fayetteville’s North Regional Library.
Fayetteville police have located two of the three people that may have information about a fatal shooting that happened earlier this week that left a man dead and three others wounded. Ivery Elliot, 34, was found dead at the scene. 40-year-old Izaak Eugene Bridges is charged with first-degree murder in the case.
