The Arizona Cardinals deactivated Jonathan Dwyer after learning of the accusations against him. Dwyer, led to the jail in handcuffs on Wednesday, was charged with three counts, including “aggravated assault causing a fracture” involving the unidentified 27-year-old victim.
Australian police on Thursday disrupted what they described as a pending attack “on a member of the public,” part of a sweeping counter terrorism operation a killing, in which alleged assailants planned to kidnap a member of the public, behead the victim and then drape him or her in an ISIS flag.
The man involved is alleging police brutality and filing a $5 million lawsuit against the officer, who claims he feared for his safety. The confrontation actually started minutes before it was caught on tape.
