Word on the street is that Nelly and his crew may have planted the rape scandal as promotion for his new show that he's featured on.

Blogger Fameolous tweeted,

"Heard the Nelly story is a planted story for the show Platinum Life & it will go away once he and Ms Jackson make their appearances allegedly."

Celebrities do all kinds of publicity stunts but being accused of being a rapist is one of the worst things one could be accused of.
