Cardi B Almost Gave Up Her Rap Career When Dropped From A Song
Just goes to show that you shouldn’t give up on your dreams just because of a setback.
Cardi B uploaded a video on social media which has made it to YouTube since, saying that “I did a verse to somebody’s song, and other artists were on the song as well. I was so excited because I felt like my verse was so poppin’. Then, the artist told me that I couldn’t be on the song anymore because one of the artists that was on the song felt like I was too small and they were too big for me to be on the same song with them.”
It’s a little strange because she’s eating while telling the story, but hey, whatever.
She said that it was around Christmastime, and she was having a hard time getting back on the horse. She says that her team told her to keep going and says “I did, and I’m here.”
She goes into not having thick skin, and that people have said things about her behind her back, and then would say she needed to grow a thicker skin about the industry. It still gets to her, which I think we can all relate to.
