Police Say Rapper Filmed His Own Murder On His Cell Phone
Rahim Grant, a rapper from Georgia, captured footage of his own murder on December 29.
Initially, the mother of Grant’s child, Ciera Harp, 29, told authorities she shot Grant in self defense. He was shot inside his apartment in Clayton County.
According to WSBTV, he was shot a total of seven times.
Grant’s mother is credited with telling her son to turn on his cell phone and record whenever he was concerned.
News of the footage obtained from the mobile device comes weeks after his death due to a delay in being able to extract the video from the phone.
