Rapper Craig Mack has passed away at age 46.

The early 90’s Bad Boy rapper died of heart failure at his residence in South Carolina yesterday, according to New York Daily News.

According to Complex, a long time friend of Mack, Alvin Toney, confirmed Mack’s death, and said that he recently spoke with Mack and said that he was dealing with an unspecified health issue.

“He was prepared for whatever comes, to go home to the lord. He was prepared to do that. He wasn’t scared. He was ready,” said Toney.

May Craig Mack rest in peace.
