NBC Washington is reporting 'a shooting at a high school in southern Texas left nine people dead Friday morning, several law enforcement sources told NBC News, and officials say one suspect is in custody and a second person is detained.
Students at Santa Fe High School described hearing gunshots after a fire alarm went off and being told to run away from the school. Authorities have yet to say on the record how many people were hurt or give information on the suspect.
Sources cautioned the number could change. '
