Garnett’s younger sister, Ashley Danyelle Phelps, was arrested in South Carolina for attempting to rob two different Check Into Cash stores and an Advance America. According to Complex, Phelps told the employees of the store that she had a bomb.
The attempted robberies happened in Greenville, SC and now Phelps is facing two counts of armed robbery, two counts of making a bomb threat, and one count of attempted armed robbery.
Phelps is currently being held at Greenville County Detention Center after being denied bond.
It should be noted that Kevin and Ashley had a falling out and currently don’t speak anymore.
