Considering that there have now been shootings at multiple concerts, the use of Gunshot Sound Effects should be off limits. 

During Eminem's Bonnaroo set, "realistic" gunshot sound effects were used, and Billboard reports that many fans were upset by it.

Tweets went out - including this one below, which shows when the gunshots come out, people begin to scream:

According to Paul Rosenberg, Eminem's Manager, Em did not use gunshot sounds, but it was the sound of the pyrotechnics that were shot off at the end of the songs - and he points out he's been doing that for 10 years, including this year during all other U.S. Festival dates.
