This past Thursday, police tried to pull over a car in Georgia’s Cowetta County and was forced to pursue a chase. Eventually, the car crashed into a deputy’s police car and was stopped.
Upon searching the vehicle and the persons in it, they cops found money, two pistols, THC oil, Percocet, oxycodone, marijuana and vape cartridges. According to Complex, Jones said that he had a prescription for the oxycodone and percocet, and he also told the driver to pull over but she was incoherent.
Turns out one of the pistols was stolen, so Jones got charged with possession of a stolen firearm during the commission of a crime and possession of narcotics. He also caught a misdemeanor charge because he had his prescription drugs outside of their original container.
Jones has been attempting to rekindle his music career lately, he was featured on the Uncle Drew soundtrack as well as dropping a solo album a few months back titled Wasted Talent.
With this help or hurt Jones in his quest to become relevant again?
