According to azcentral, 92 year old Anna Mae Blessing shot her son after she refused to go to an assisted living facility. Blessing told deputies her son wanted her to leave because she "had become difficult to live with."

When she confronted her son, she had two concealed pistols in her robe and she was able to shoot her son multiple times before turning one of the pistols toward his girlfriend who was able to wrestle the pistol away.

Blessing is being charged with first-degree murder as well as aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. She is being held on $500,000 bond.
