Million Dollar Lawsuit Has Stemmed From Kim K’s Paris Robbery
Kim K’s Paris robbery fiasco has hit new heights.
If you don’t remember, about two years ago, Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in Paris, France and robbed of tons of jewelry and cherished goods including a $4 million ring from her husband Kanye. (According to Complex)
Her security at the time was Pascal Duvier’s company, Protect Security and it looks like he and his company are being sued by AIG for $6.1 million. At the time of the attack, Kim was staying in the No Address Hotel for Paris Fashion Week and decided to show off some jewelry on her Snapchat. Later that night is when the thieves came to Kim’s hotel room, Kim said, “I called my bodyguard at 2:56am,” but at the time, Duvier attended a nightclub with Kim’s sisters Kendall and Kourtney.
AIG is suing the security company for the amount paid to Kim Kardashian saying that it was all Duvier’s fault because he left Kim without protection and failed to correct an unsecured front gate and broken door intercom.
We will see how this goes. I don’t know the terms of Kim and Duvier’s contract so there’s no telling what his obligations were.
