J.R. Smith Had To Turn Himself In Over This
J.R. Smith doesn’t play games, well except for basketball.
Back in August, J.R. turned himself in to the New York Police Dept for a misdemeanor charge of criminal mischief stemming from a July 26th incident where J.R. threw a persons phone into a construction site. J.R. was leaving a restaurant and the man repeatedly try to snap photos of J.R. after he asked the man to please stop and the man decided he didn’t want to stop, so J.R. grabbed the phone and threw it.
This past Wednesday, prosecutor John Johnsen, agreed to have J.R. pay a $600 fine for the phone and now it is all swept under the rug.
Smith is to report to the arraignment on Nov. 15th.
Until then, let’s just enjoy J.R. getting harassed by the NBA and his antics to retaliate.
