It’s safe to say you use a Drake feature no matter how late it comes in.

This past weekend at ComplexCon 2018, Wayno, a co-host of Complex’s series, Everyday Struggle, brought Sickamore, No I.D., and Raekwon together for the ComplexCon(versations) panel.

Sickamore got to talking about making a rap album in today’s era of technology and mentioned while working with Travis Scott on his latest album, ASTROWORLD, Drake didn’t finish his verse for Sicko Mode, until 2 a.m. the same day the album was to release to the public.

The panel had mixed emotions about the topic pleading the benefits and originality that comes with working face to face rather than just sending verses back and forth via the cloud, but then again we have to remember that the panelists are OG’s in the game and are used to the old school way.

They didn’t mention that it is diminishing the value of collaborations which is true because now anyone can “make a song” with anyone with all the new technology.

What do you think about all of this?
