That Nielsen mistake is a bigger deal than you think.

Last week, Billboard released it’s album charts with a slight discrepancy once believed to be a minor mistake but now it’s being treated very seriously.

Righteously so.

According to Complex, Nielsen reported that Travis Scott’s ASTROWORLD outperformed 6ix9ine’s DUMMY BOY by 200 units when in reality, its 69’s album that took the first place spot.

According to Hits Daily Double, Sony, Billboard and Creative Music Group held a meeting and litigation was threatened due to Nielsen’s inability to give accurate numbers for both Tidal and SoundCloud. Reports say that SoundCloud was late to provide stats with led to their disqualification.

Billboard has yet to release the updated stats from week 48 which is anticipated to have DUMMY BOY as the number one album over ASTROWORLD.

We will keep you updated as more information becomes available.
