The hip-hop star collaborated with the 34-year-old on her track "Dumb Blonde". The news, which sent fans into a frenzy, was confirmed when the "Complicated" singer's tracklist was revealed via preorder links on various platforms, including Amazon and iTunes, according to That Grape Juice.
Lavigne shared a snippet of the track (sans Nicki Minaj) via her Instagram account, last night. She can be heard singing, "I ain't no dumb blonde. I ain't no stupid Barbie doll. I got my game on. Just watch me, watch me, watch me prove ya wrong," on the track. The song was written by Lavigne and singer-songwriter Bonnie McKee.
Some fans are already excited over the possibility of Minaj and Lavigne performing at award shows like the Juno Awards. Many have tweeted about how excited they are for the collaboration, and some are questioning what era it is.
