Report: Soulja Boy Arrested After Violating Probation

It's not a happy Friday for Soulja Boy.

Today (Mar. 15), the rapper was arrested after he paid a visit to his probation officer, reports TMZ.

This seems to be a repeat offense: the rapper's probation was violated back in 2016 when police came to his residency after the rapper threatened people online. During the cops' search, they found at least one weapon, which was a violation of his probation. That caused the judge to extend his probation and again instruct Soulja Boy to stay away from weapons.

Last month, the police had obtained a search warrant to search the "Pretty Boy Swag" rapper's home after a woman claimed that Soulja Boy allegedly kidnapped her. However, Soulja Boy denied the claims. During that search, police found ammunition. Apparently, they waited until today for Soulja Boy to meet with his probation officer, to arrest the rapper for violating his probation.

He's currently at a jail in Van Nuys, California, and will appear in court later today to see a judge. Hours before his arrest, he tweeted, "If you heard some s*** about me come ask me first."

The rapper had also shared a photograph of himself on Instagram hours before the arrest with a wad of money in his lap.
