Tyga Reportedly Drops $10 Million Lawsuit Against Cash Money Records And Young Money Entertainment
The legal battle between Tyga and Cash Money Records/Young Money Entertainment is over.
The “Rack City” rapper dismissed all claims against Cash Money Records and Young Money Entertainment after suing them for $10million, according to The Blast.
Last year, Tyga filed a lawsuit where the rapper claimed that CMR and YME owed him money after leaving the imprints in 2016.
Tyga sued for a breach of contract, alleging that he had unpaid royalties for his 2012 release Careless World and his 2013 release Hotel California.

CMR disputed the “Taste” rapper’s allegations and tried to get the case thrown out, but the possibility of a settlement was discussed.
The settlement discussion dissipated after Birdman responded to the suit, stating that Tyga actually owed the label money.
Birdman said that Tyga was paid advances that were never recouped, leaving Tyga to drop all claims, which resulted in the case being officially closed.
