Lil Kim’s Blames Label for New Album Being Pushed Back
There’s good and bad news for Lil Kim fans.
Last night (Apr. 22), Lil Kim took to Instagram to air out her grievances with her record label, E One, because they pushed back the release of her new upcoming album, 9.
The “How Many Licks” rapper wrote, “E One has pushed back the date of my album y’all. If you have an issue, take it up with them. This has nothing to do with me. I am beyond upset with this and couldn’t wait to show you all what I’ve been working on,” in her Instagram story.
“Also Spotify is hating on me. I can’t understand why after all of the favors I’ve done for them. Direct all of your energy towards them too.”
There hasn’t been any word from E One regarding why exactly Kim’s album release date was pushed back.
Lil Kim’s new upcoming album will be the Brooklyn rapper’s first studio album in 14 years. The original release date for 9 was May 10.
On a brighter note, the Queen Bee dropped a new single today (Apr. 23) titled “No Auto Blanco.”
“We overseas they like how you get them Glocks out here/I got killers in different countries. You know squad out here/Feed a lot of wolves. Watching how you talk out here/F**k Lil Kim that’s all I hear is people talking evil/F**k Lil Kim. If you say that then b***h I bet not see you,” she raps on the track.
