Soulja Boy Sentenced To 240 Days In Jail After Violating Probation
Soulja Boy is about to spend some time behind bars.
The “Crank That” rapper was recently sentenced to 240 days in jail and 265 days of community service after violating his probation, as TMZ reports.
Soulja Boy went to court on Tuesday (Apr. 30) and his lawyer told the judge that the rapper had an “awakening” during the last 20 days that he was locked up.
The judge told Soulja Boy that he was originally going to give the rapper two years in state prison, but decided to be lenient.
Soulja Boy who has served 40 days already and has credit for it will have to start his sentence immediately.
Earlier this month, Soulja Boy was taken into custody after he failed to do his court-ordered community service and conspired to falsify evidence that he actually did it.
Also in February, the rapper’s home was raided and police found ammunition during the search, which was a violation of Soulja Boy’s probation.
