Ciara Drops Seventh Studio Album ‘Beauty Marks’ On Her New Imprint
On Friday (May 10), Ciara dropped her new album Beauty Marks.
The highly-teased 11-track album features Kelly Rowland, Macklemore, and Tekno. The album is led by her collaboration with Macklemore on “I Love Myself,” an inspirational ode to self-love.
CiCi’s dance-invoking singles “Dose” and “Level Up” are featured on the album alongside her mid-tempo cuts “Greatest Love,” “Freak Me”, and “Thinkin’ Bout You.”
Ciara’s infectious collaboration with Kelly Rowland, “Girl Gang” is a stand out track that will most likely be on repeat by women getting ready to paint the town red this summer.
The album’s title track is a ballad about her lover seeing all of her flaws as beauty marks. “If nobody’s perfect then all I want to be is imperfect with you cause you take me as I am. And I take you as you are with your heart in weathered hands,” CiCi sings on the track.
Ciara took to Instagram to announce the release of the album with one of her babies. A fresh-faced Ciara tells her toddler to say hi and tell everyone that Beauty Marks is out now.
Beauty Marks is Ciara’s inaugural release from her own imprint, Beauty Marks Entertainment. Take a listen below.
