Halle Berry Kisses Lena Waithe On 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!'

On Wednesday night, Emmy Award-winning Lena Waithe guest hosted Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and she had some help from her friend Halle Berry.

Lena Waithe's Guest Host Monologue on Jimmy Kimmel Live

With Jimmy out hosting his All in the Family and Jeffersons special tonight, his very funny and talented pal Lena Waithe stepped in to host the show for him. She gets a big surprise from Halle Berry, and some help from a group of young, fresh-faced, up-and-coming writers.

Prior to hosting the show, Waithe tapped Kimmel's security guard for ideas on how to get motivated for her first time hosting late night television and living out her "Arsenio Hall dreams."

He told the screenwriter who executive produces Showtimes's The Chi that she could use the "Berry Button."

The big red button was tapped and out popped John Wick 3 star Halle Berry, who offered up Waithe some hilarious motivational affirmations and a surprise smooch on the lips.

Berry and Waithe both work together on BET's "Boomerang," a modern TV series spinoff of the 1992 film of the same title starring Eddie Murphy and Berry.

Check out Berry and Waithe's big kiss above and the social media reactions below.
