On Monday (May 27), the cousin of Cyril Briscoe, who was murdered in a drive-by shooting after seeing Houston rapper Megan Thee Stallion during a club appearance in Greater Baltimore, tweeted of a photo of her cousin, Megan Thee Stallion, and what looks like rapper Wale (the face is blurry), and claimed that her cousin was “in love” with the “Realer” rapper.
The woman also stated in the Tweet that her cousin was killed after leaving the club to go see Thee Stallion.
Megan Thee Stallion did, in fact, notice the tweet, and offered her condolences for Briscoe. She also mentioned that he had good energy when she met him.“I’m so sorry for your loss,” she said. “His energy was amazing when we met.”
The Shade Room obtained direct messages between Briscoe’s cousin and Meg, revealing that the rapper donated $1200 to a Go Fund Me fundraiser that was made to fund Briscoe’s funeral. Megan Thee Stallion also told the slain fan’s cousin to inform her if her Go Fund Me doesn’t raise enough money to cover the funeral costs, insinuating that she would donate more.
