The 1997 Theodore Witcher-directed film Love Jones that starred Larenz Tate, Nia Long, Isaiah Washington, Bill Bellamy, and Lisa Nicole Carson is a cult classic.

On Thursday, Tate took to Instagram and shared a photo of himself with his former co-star Nia Long, both wearing ridiculously wide smiles.

In his caption, the veteran actor teased a sequel to the film that’s arguably one of the best black love stories ever.

Many Instagram users chimed in with their opinion regarding a sequel to the film, including a few celebrities.

“My baby forever!!!” Nia Long commented. Singer and songwriter Sevyn Streeter wrote,” Don’t play with my heart like THIS!” in the comment section.

LaLa Anthony also chimed in and commented, “ASAP.” Queen Sugar‘s Kofi Siriboe commented with two goat emojis.
