“‘That’s why I call my thing the marathon , I’m not gone lie and portray this ultimate poise like I had it figured it out. Nah I just didn’t quit. That’s the only distinguishing quality from me and prolly whoever else is going through this or went thru this or is gonna go thru this. Is that I ain’t quit. I went they every emotion. I went thru Every emotion! To pursue what I’m doing. I think that what’s gone separate whoever gone try to go for something is that you ain’t gone quit. You gone really take the stance, “I’m gone die behind what I’m gettin at right now”! – NIP'” Muse continued.

Actress Golden Brooks, mostly known for role of Maya Wilkes on Girlfriends, took to Instagram to say a few words regarding the LA rapper.

“Words from a king. Happy birthday to a soul gone way too soon,” Brooks wrote as her caption of ap photograph of Nipsey Hussle along with a quote from the rapper.

“These words land heavy. Inspiration from people doesn’t always come in the form of money, a big house, a fancy ride, the latest clothes, shoes, or all of the monetary things this life tells us we must have: but rather, a clean soul, a hard worker, a non-complainer, compassion, focused, selfless, a listener, someone who sacrifices, a dope parent, a believer….these traits are inspiration to me! Can never feel caged when you follow the heart first.”
