LOS ANGELES -FEBRUARY 26: Music producer Marion “Suge” Knight of Death Row records exits Los Angeles County Jail after being in jail for over two months for parole violations on February 26, 2002 in Los Angeles, California. A panel of State parole board members dropped several counts of the violations and ordered his released. His only charge was for associating with known gang members. (Photo by J. Tupac and Mr. Potato Head are now part of the same corporate family.

Hasbro, the toy company that owns Monopoly, G.I. Joe, the Transformers, My Little Pony, the Power Rangers and Mr. Potato Head, among others, acquired Entertainment One, a media company that owns Death Row Records (having purchased it in 2013, according to Rolling Stone).

Entertainment One already owned a few G-rated properties, including Peppa Pig, so Death Row already had some unlikely neighbors under that corporate umbrella (and Entertainment One has also put out albums by other hip-hop artists, including the Wu-Tang Clan and Lil Kim, as well as hard rockers like Zakk Wylde, Crowbar, High On Fire and Ace Frehley).

There's no word, as of yet, if Hasbro will reissue any of the Death Row catalog. Or if they'll come up with a "Chronic" board game or "Doggy Style" action figures. Suge Knight has not yet commented.
