Travis Scott's fans have some things to say about Cardi B. Apparently, some of the rapper and producer's fans feel that Cardi isn't worthy of the Grammy Award (Best Rap Album) that her debut album, Invasion of Privacy won.
Some of Scott's supporters feel that Scott should have received Best Rap Album for his project ASTROWORLD.
The release of Travis Scott's Netflix documentary Look Mom I Can Fly, has triggered the Houston artist's fans to take to social media and express their disapproval of Cardi B and her first Grammy.
Take a look at some of the tweets below.
Some social media users took to Twitter to defend Cardi B and her win. Check out some of the comments below.
Cardi B also took to Twitter to respond to the criticism and explain how hard she worked on her Grammy Award-winning album, all while she was pregnant with her first child, her daughter, Kulture.
"On my album, I showed different sides of me. From my intro talking about my [past]. To living my best life, inspiring people. Relationship songs while I was going thru my own relationship drama to shaking ass like Bodak & that A**. Every song went platinum!" Cardi B tweeted.
The "Money" rapper also said that "wasn't even thinking of winning or even the Grammies." She explained that all she could think about was "everybody is disappointed in me, am I still going to have a creeer after this baby?"
Cardi went on to explain that she had her husband, Offset talk to her record label because she had just separated from her longtime manager and didn't have a relationship with her label. Together, they decided to relocate the Bronx rapper to Atlanta, so she could finish recording her album.
Cardi also explained that Offset helped her solidify the features for Invasion of Privacy because a lot of artists turned her down.
During her rant, Cardi B also referenced the late Nipsey Hussle showing her support when she won. "When I won Nipsey said on a comment to me WHEN IS YOUR TIME IS YOUR TIME!' Cardi Tweeted.
The "Bodak Yellow" rapper then tweeted about "weird fan accounts killing sh*t," while she was enjoying conversing with "real people" on Twitter.
She then ended her series of tweets by saying, "Ya some grown a** men talking about dragging Cardi cause I won [an] award for a bomb a** album. Mind you I myself promoted Astroworld on my page when it came out and have a good relationship wit trav [Travis Scott] while ya some small d*ck men talking bout draggginh a girl."
