3 p.m. UPDATE: Region Begins Feeling Direct Impacts of Dorian
With Hurricane Dorian moving off the coast of South Carolina now, residents across Southeastern North Carolina are beginning to feel the impacts of the storm.
Central North Carolina is already seeing heavy rain, with a half an inch in Fayetteville and 1.4 inches on Fort Bragg.

Wind conditions are also starting to worsen. At 1:16 p.m., Laurinburg was already seeing gusts near 40 mph.
