The Weeknd Debuts New Look And Social Media Reacts

Early Tuesday morning (Sept. 10), R&B crooner The Weeknd took to Twitter to debut a new look, and almost immediately joking commenced. The "House of Balloons" singer tweeted two side-by-side photos of himself wearing a navy blue suit with a white shirt, a clean-shaven face sans his signature beard, and a newly styled afro.

The only facial hair left on the Toronto singer was his mustache, and of course, eyebrows, which was debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Since posting his new look, The Weeknd has been called everything from, "Lionel Richie is that you?" to "It's not The Weeknd. This is his 3rd cousin. It's Monday" to "el Fin De Semana." Check out some of the reactions from social media below.
