As ABC News explains, "A Carnival Glory ship was attempting to dock when it hit a Carnival Legend ship in the morning hours." Guest were evacuated shortly after the incident. One person had minor injuries.
In a statement from Carnival, they say, "We are assessing the damage but there are no issues that impact the seaworthiness of either ship. We have advised guests from both ships to enjoy their day ashore in Cozumel."
A lot of passengers and bystanders took video and pictures of the incident and put them on social media. See some of the footage below.
