Shonda Rhimes Says Teachers Deserve To Make a Billion Dollars a Year
Parents and caretakers having to guide their child(ren)’s learning at home and resort to homeschooling amid the coronavirus epidemic has made some parents and caretakers realize what educators go through Monday through Friday when school is regularly in session.
Television producer and writer Shonda Rhimes recently took to Twitter to express how she feels about educators.
“Been homeschooling a 6-year old and 8-year old for one hour and 11 minutes,” Rhimes tweeted. “Teachers deserve to make a billion dollars a year. Or a week.”

I taught for many years. Thank heavens you realize how difficult it is to homeschool. Too many people voluntarily homeschool their kids and THINK they're doing a good job... but they aren't.
