Travis Scott’s Surprise i-D Magazine Event Is Under Investigation For Violations
Travis Scott’s pop-up event for i-D Magazine earlier this week is currently being investigated for COVID-19 violations.
The event in question took place in Los Angeles. As TMZ explains, “the city did not issue a permit for Travis’ Cactus Jack newsstand Tuesday… as we’re told the city’s been frowning on dishing ’em out lately due to COVID-19 — especially for non-essential gatherings like this.”
For the pop-up, Travis Scott showed up at a newsstand and handed out limited editions of the i-D magazine that he is on the cover of.
The outlet adds that L.A.’s Dept. of Public Works plans on consulting with the City Attorney’s office to determine what actions they want to take.
