Texas Diner Will Add $50 To Bill Of Any Patrons Told To Wear A Mask
Legends Diner in Denton, Texas, is taking extra precautions to ensure all customers are staying safe. Per Dallas News, the restaurant will charge any patrons who don’t want to wear masks.
They put a sign in the front of their restaurant that reads, “Our new surcharge: $50 if I have to explain why masks are mandatory. $75 if I have to hear why you disagree…”

Even though the state’s mask mandate was recently lifted, co-owners Wayne and Kat LaCombe still want to be safe. Wayne said, “I just can’t afford to get the virus. We’d have to shut our business down.” He adds that people are lining up to take pictures of the photo, but so far, they haven’t had to add the charge to any bills.
