Trey Mena, a photographer posted the image of the NBA player to his Instagram wearing the Nike Kyrie 8 in a unique blue, black, and white camo colorway.
The photographer quoted the ballplayer, “When I stopped caring what everybody thinks/says about me and started trusting genuine people, the world became a canvas for me...," and added the biblical verse "1 John 4:19" in the caption.
Irving previously spoke on the leaked design of a previous sneaker version calling the sneakers "trash" and dismissing that he had any parts in creating the design,
"I have nothing to do with the design or marketing of the upcoming #Kyrie8," Irving commented under some leaked photos of the sneakers, "IMO these are trash! I have Absolutely nothing to do with them! Nike plans to release it without my okay regardless of what I say, so I apologize in advance to all of my sneaker heads and true supporters of the #KAI11 brand."
However, sneakerheads are ready for the newest colorway from the Brooklyn Nets point guard with multiple comments with the "fire emoji" underneath the recent shots.
