Police responded to the incident around 3 a.m. in Sherman Oaks as he pulled into the driveway with another passenger in the car, KTLA reported.
The two victims then noticed another vehicle behind them and four armed men got out of the vehicle and ordered the victims to get out of their car. The victims apparently refused and drove off, but they were followed, police said, per the outlet.
The suspects followed Jenkins, and at one point opened fire on his car. No injuries were reported, according to KTLA.
Just Monday, LAPD notified residences on Twitter of a "series of robberies" happening in the area and are warning the community to stay safe.
