Happy Veteran's Day! I would first like to thank all of our Veterans and their loved ones for their sacrifices to protect our country. The VA currently helps over 5 million Veterans and their loved ones through numerous benefits offered.
However, millions of veterans don't utilize or even know about many of the benefits the VA provides. We hear so much about Veterans not getting needed resources, I thought it would be helpful to highlight services that are available and underutilized.
I caught up with ShaDonna McPhaul, founder of Mo's Heroes, a nonprofit that helps Veterans get the resources they need. During our interview she shares her knowledge of the many underutilized benefits below:
