Singer DaniLeigh has been charged with simple assault after DaBaby called law enforcement to have her and their newborn removed from his home.

Per TMZ, cops who responded to his home say DaniLeigh assaulted DaBaby on Sunday, and then again on Monday morning.

DaniLeigh was charged with two counts of simple assault after officers made two visits to the rapper's home. The first incident occurred on Sunday night after the "Savage" rapper went live on Instagram showing the singer feeding their three-month-old child. Law enforcement says per the outlet, "DaBaby accused the singer of striking him, but police left without making an arrest."

However, that changed when law enforcement came back Monday morning, responding to DaBaby's second claim of domestic abuse. Police were able to investigate and found evidence to cite the "Easy" singer for two misdemeanor assaults, one for Monday and Sunday's alleged incidents.

During the Sunday night incident, DaBaby said on Instagram, "I gotta record you for my safety. You ain't fitting to bring this Black man down."

On Monday, the rapper posted another video of him and the singer that went viral of them arguing over the alleged abuse and DaBaby asking the singer to leave his home once again.

Later that Monday afternoon, DaniLeigh posted a photo to her Instagram Story of the ceiling of a jet with the words, "I left and me and my baby are safe. Thank y'all for the support."

Both DaniLeigh and DaBaby posted statements on Monday of their version of the incident.
