Megan Thee Stallion Calls Out Tory Lanez for Calling Her Liar, Lanez Responds
After the trial for the incident in 2020 that left Megan The Stallion shot in the foot was moved to April of this year, R&B singer and rapper Tory Lanez tweeted, “u can’t buy and tweet your way out of this one ..not today.” The tweet seemingly refers to Megan.
However, Megan The Stallion is letting it be known that she is not a liar and went to Instagram to post screenshots of a text message exchange between her and Lanez.
In the text exchange post which has now been deleted by the three-time Grammy winner, Tory is seemingly apologizing for hurting Megan.
In the text thread, Lanez says, “Meg, I know you prolly never talk to me again, but I genuinely want you to know I’m sorry from the bottom of my heart. And I was too drunk. [Nonetheless] s— should have never happened and I can’t change what I did. I just feel horrible.”
Meg doesn’t show a response to the text but captioned the post, “Lie yo way out of this … if you aint do s— what you was apologizing for? THEY GOT YOU RECORDED ON THE JAIL PHONE TALKING TO KELSEY APOLOGIZING BEGGING US NOT TO TALK.”
Kelsey is Megan’s former best friend, and she was also in the SUV the night of the shooting.
However, the “Say It” singer says that’s not what he’s apologizing for in the text messages. Shortly after Megan posted the now-deleted photo, Lanez tweeted, “Good D— had me f—— 2 best friends …. and I got caught 🤷🏾♂️ … that’s what I apologized 4.”
Lanez is insinuating that he had sex with both Megan and Kelsey and that’s why he texted Megan apologizing.
The next court date is now set for April 5th.
