The jackpots keep coming, as a Fayetteville woman has won $200,000 on a North Carolina Education Lottery scratch-off ticket, the fourth large winner this month for our region.
Jacquelyn Hutchens of Fayetteville won her prize on a $5 Mega Bucks scratch-off that she purchased from the Short Stop on Olive Road.
After state and federal taxes, Hutchens still grabbed $140,785 in winnings.
Hutchens joins three winners from Moore County in celebrating this month. Timothy Sanders of Southern Pines grabbed $100,000 on a $1 Cash 5 ticket. Samphant Vanamathis won $100,000 on a Cash 5 drawing. And Steven Richter of Jackson Springs won $100,000 on a scratch-off ticket.
