The icon took to Instagram to post the album cover art which shows the singer on top of a silver holographic horse dressed in matching body jewelry. In addition to the cover art, Beyoncé left a message about her intentions with the album.
"Creating this album allowed me a place to dream and to find escape during a scary time for the world," Beyoncé wrote. "It allowed me to feel free and adventurous in a time when little else was moving. My intention was to create a safe place, a place without judgment. A place to be free of perfectionism and overthinking. A place to scream, release, [and] feel freedom. It was a beautiful journey of exploration. I hope you find joy in this music. I hope it inspires you to release the wiggle. Ha! And to feel as unique, strong, and sexy as you are."
The album cover art comes on the heels of the release of Beyonce's lead single from Renaissance, "Break My Soul" which dropped last week.
Renaissance is out July 29.

Beyoncé dropped "Break My Soul," the first single from her upcoming album Renaissance and it is no surprise that the song instantly became a trending topic.
Fans instantly made comparisons to Drake's latest dance LP Honestly, Nevermind since "Break My Soul" veers into the genre as well.
The track was produced by Beyoncé, The-Dream, and Christopher “Tricky” Stewart. Additionally credited co-writers include Jay-Z, Adam “BlaqNmilD” Pigott, Big Freedia, Allen George, and Fred McFarlane.
"Break My Soul" is the first original song since she released the Oscar-nominated track “Be Alive” last year. Renaissance is out July 29.
