Nicki Minaj Teases Two ‘Super Freaky Girl’ Remixes
Nicki Minaj is teasing not one but two remixes for her latest single “Super Freaky Girl.” The Queens rapper revealed the news on Tuesday (Sept. 6).

Nicki has been keeping details about the remixes under wraps: some of those details include when the Barbz should expect it to be released and who will be featured on the remixes. The rapper hinted that multiple talents will be involved with a “part 2” also possibly in the works.
“Also guys, this is part 1. There may be a part [2] #QueenMix,” she added.
Nicki became the first female solo rap artist to debut on the Hot 100’s with “Super Freaky Girl” since Lauryn Hill in 1998 with “Doo Wop (That Thing),” per Billboard.
“You did it barbz,” Nicki penned to Instagram back in August. “You did it. I love you so much. like so so SO much. Thank you.”
Nicki later released the music video for the record on Sept. 1. She costars in the visual with Canadian actor Alexander Ludwig.
Nicki performed the hit at the MTV VMA’s where she was honored with the Michael Jackson Vanguard Video Award.
While she was receiving the award, she got emotional as she thanked other artists who helped her throughout her career. “I wrote [down the names of ] people who gave me huge opportunities that I’ll never forget: Kanye West, Beyoncé, Madonna, Mariah Carey, Eminem, Britney Spears, Rihanna. Thank you for everything,” she said.
“Nicki has broken barriers for women in hip-hop with her versatility and creative artistry,” said Paramount+ executive Bruce Gillmer said, per Variety. “She has shifted the music industry and cemented her status as a global superstar with her crossover appeal, genre-defying style, and continuing to be unapologetically ‘Nicki.'”
Previous recipients of the award include Justin Timberlake, Beyoncé, Kanye West, Britney Spears, Rihanna, P!nk, Jennifer Lopez, and Missy Elliott.
