Kanye West has just joined TikTok and posted his first video on Sunday (September 18). Ye signed up for the platform and quickly received nearly 300,000 subscribers as of Tuesday. The first video he uploaded is of him riding passenger seat in a car with his ninth studio album Jesus Is King (2019) playing "Selah" in the background. After the song finishes, Ye turns the dial to blast the next songs "Closed On Sunday" and "God Is."

The TikTok does not have any captions and Ye just seems to be enjoying his car ride with an iced coffee on deck. He sings along for a brief moment to "God Is." Check out the clip below where it has already received over 800,000 views.

In a recent conversation with Forbes, Ye told the publication of his desire to produce and sell affordable clothing to the masses as he moves forward in regaining control of his creations. This follows the termination of his 10-year GAP partnership and news that YEEZY is now facing restrictions on standalone activities.

Ye revealed his intended plans for his highly-anticipated YZY SHDZ and just how much he wants to sell them for. He explains that he will be selling the metallic shield-style shades at $20 at his Ye Supply store.

“When it’s sold in America, it’ll be made in America, and when it’s sold in China, it’ll be manufactured in China. So the glasses will cost $20, and everything in the Ye Supply store will be $20. And, we’re working on how to make clothing free. Because life is free," Ye said of the affordable line.

The YZY SHDZ were initially revealed by Ye when he made a surprise appearance during Lil Durk’s 2022 Rolling Loud Miami set. At the beginning of August, Kim Kardashian and her daughters North and Chicago helped Ye debut the launch with a campaign. Later, Ye recruited Lil Uzi Vert to also share photos of himself with the new SHDZ.

This is not the first time Ye has mentioned he wants his products to sell at a lower price point. Earlier last week, CNBC interviewed the artist who said he had originally wanted his GAP pieces to be sold at $20 but GAP wanted them priced between $60 to $300.
