‘Serial Cheater’ Shaquille O’Neal Says He’s Staying Out of Udoka Conversation
Ime Udoka and Nia Long were all over the news recently, thanks to Udoka allegedly cheating on her, but Shaquille O’Neal quietly made some headlines of his own related to the matter.
Udoka is currently serving a year-long suspension from his position as head coach of the Boston Celtics. While it hasn’t publicly been officially stated that infidelity from his fiancé was the reason, there were a lot of reports saying that was a factor.
That brings us to Shaquille O’Neal and his thoughts on Udoka and Long. According to Essence, the NBA Hall-of-Famer and media personality said he had some issues with the whole situation, but thought it would be best if he stayed quiet. Why? Well, here’s what he had to say on his The Big Podcast with Shaq:
“I am going to step down from this conversation. I was a serial cheater,” Shaq said. “It would be crazy and blasphemous for me to get up here and say, ‘Boom, boom, bam.’ I can’t do that. I know these guys personally. I know they’re going through a lot because I went through a lot.”
Now, it was no secret that Shaq wasn’t an angel. He admitted that he was the reason his marriage with Shaunie Henderson ended. And he said his friendship with Long has made the situation with Udoka even harder.
“I just wish that certain parties weren’t involved. I’ve known Nia Long for a long time and I like her,” he said. “They’re going through a lot of family stuff. I’m never the guy that’s gonna get up here because of my platform and fake it. I did it. I was the best at it and not proud of it at all. I lost my family doing it. I lost valuable, important years of my children from doing it. I’m not that guy. I’m real with the situation.”
