On Sunday (January 29), account user @extraathique shared two photos of the 777 hitmaker and accused her of "panty repeating." For a normal person, this is never an issue but with celebs it's always an added pressure to step out in something new every time they are photographed.
"Can’t afford new panties?" the account asked the rapper in the caption on Twitter. It's worth nothing that they also failed to tag Latto in the rude post.
In the first photo, the account shared a screenshot of the rapper's post wearing a hot pink Juicy Couture sweatsuit. In the second photo, Latto is rocking an all-denim look with a cropped fur jacket and low-rise jeans. In both photos, the "Sunshine" rapper appears to be wearing leopard print underwear.
"Oh no, it’s the panty police," Latto responded in a quote tweet.
Fans came to Latto's defense claiming that the account that posted the photos making the comparison was just a hater.
"Ugh folks act like you can’t wash clothes and wear em again," one fan wrote.
"Imagine not knowing about washing machines," one fan put simply.
While Twitter debates on whether Latto owns a washing machine, the ATL native is keeping her fans entertained with a new freestyle. The "Big Energy" emcee dropped a freestyle to SZA's "Smoking on my Ex Pack" over the weekend. Take a look at the new track below:
Latto (formerly known as Mulatto), came onto the rap scene in 2015 when she was the inaugural winner of the Lifetime reality series The Rap Game. Since then, the self-proclaimed "Queen of Da Souf" has made her own lane. "The Biggest" was released shortly after Latto's name change from Mullato where the rapper decided to switch up her moniker due to backlash, "Mulatto was a negative term that I was trying to make positive," the Georgia native told Billboard. "We’re gonna start positive, and I feel like that’s gonna bring that energy my way. I feel like, in a way, that could’ve been holding me back, and I don’t want to attach that to myself anymore…"
4. "Muwop" ft. Gucci Mane, 'Queen of Da Souf' (2020)
