Summer Walker fans, a new EP is on the way! The ATL native took the stage on Sunday night (April 2) at J. Cole’s Dreamville Festival in Raleigh, North Carolina, when she surprised fans with new of a new project. The CLEAR 2: SOFT LIFE EP is slated to drop on May 19 via LVRN/Interscope Records.

CLEAR 2: SOFT LIFE follows Walker's 2019 four-track CLEAR. The latter followed the singer's debut album Over It.

The R&B songstress shared the cover of the upcoming project on Instagram. She wore an all-white, off-the-shoulder dress as she held her pregnant belly. The singer is seen kneeling in a canoe which was decorated with flowers. The Still Over It singer welcomed her twins back in January.

"I’m so proud of myself. I’m so proud of myself," she wrote at the time. "Just sharing to inspire other women ’cause I know once you carry twins to almost 42 weeks with (one breech), people will try and steer you towards induction or c-section (which there’s nothing wrong with these. I just didn’t want it for myself)."

Summer shares the twins with her ex-boyfriend Larry. The R&B singer also has a two-year-old daughter with music producer London on da Track.

The last time Walker dropped a project was her sped-up version of her Last Day of Summer EP which originally dropped in 2018. The sped-up version which was popular on TikTok was released back in November. Prior to that, her last full-length project was 2021’s Still Over It.

Clear 2: Soft Life is out May 19. Take a look at the cover below:

J. Cole knows how to put together a festival, and the artists that appeared at Dreamville Festival 2023 proved that.

With headline sets from Mr. Cole himself, Drake and Usher, that would be more than enough. But there were so many great artists all around.

Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Wayne, 6lack, Mario, the list goes on and on. Here's a look at some of our favorite photos from Dreamville 2023.

Toosii stopped by to visit with Babydoll and the Foxy 99 crew at Dreamville Festival in Raleigh.

Summer Walker is in a league of her own. The ATL songstress has captivated the R&B scene since her debut album Over It in 2019. Her sophomore album Still Over It released in 2021, gave the singer her first No. 1 album and was the biggest female R&B debut since Beyonce’s Lemonade in 2016. Walker's songwriting and vulnerability in her lyrics easily resonates with her fanbase as they shepard the singer's life lessons on love into their own. Walker continuously outdoes herself in features with her R&B and hip-hop peers showcasing her range of talent to different audiences. As always, we can not wait to see what Walker does next.

Take a look at 10 of Walker's best songs:

10. "Session 32", 'Over It' (2019)

Over-It-2019-copy-3-1.jpgInterscope/LVRN

"Session 32" was an instant classic for Summer Walker fans. The simplicity of the track from the ATL songstress is just her crooning about love while dismissing her ex's idea of it over a acoustic guitar. The song is currently certified gold status by the RIAA.

9. "Ex For A Reason" ft. JT, 'Still Over It', (2021)

Still-Over-It-2021.jpgInterscope/LVRN

The song initially received a lot of backlash from Walker's fans on social media after it served as the lead single for her sophomore album 'Still Over It.' However, fans were quick to backtrack their comments after listening to the full album. "Ex For A Reason" features JT from the rap duo City Girls with backup vocals from Nija Charles and Sean Garrett. Ironically enough Walker's ex-boyfriend, hitmaker London on da Track, produced many of the tracks on this album including this particular track.

8. "I'll Kill You" ft. Jhené Aiko, 'Over It', (2019)

Over-It-2019.jpgInterscope/LVRN

"I'll Kill You" is off of Walker's debut album 'Over It' which was released on October 4, 2019. The track recruits R&B songstress Jhené Aiko as the two croon about how they'll "go to h--- or jail" if they find their man cheating. This is not the first time the two have collaborated with one another. Aiko tapped in both Walker and 21 Savage for the remix of her track "Triggered (freestyle)." "I'll Kill You" currently sits at certified platinum status by the RIAA.

7. "Come Thru" ft. Usher, 'Over It', (2019)

Over-It-2019-copy-3.jpgInterscope/LVRN

In "Come Thru," Walker sings about how she wants her boo to come over to "replay" all of the things they did and promises to cut off seeing other guys. Usher delivers the second verse acting as the guy Walker is interested in. London on da Track samples Usher's 1997 "You Make Me Wanna" production as well as lyrically in the chorus with the lines: "You make me wanna come through/Quarter after two/Just to put it down on you." "Come Thru" stayed on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop chart for 20 weeks and peaked at No. 23.  The track is currently certified platinum by the RIAA.

6. "Insane", 'Still Over It', (2021)

Still-Over-It-2021-copy.jpgInterscope/LVRN

"Insane" is off of Walker's sophomore album 'Still Over It' which was released on November 5, 2021. On this track the ATL songstress talks about going "insane" and asks for help since the guy she's talking to is acting delusional. "Insane" stayed on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop chart for four weeks and peaked at position 20.

5. "Girls Need Love", 'Over It', (2019)

Over-It-2019-1.jpgInterscope/LVRN

Walker released" Girls Need Love" ahead of her debut album 'Over It' in 2018. Drake later hopped on the remix offering a male perspective. Both Walker and Drake sing about how its taboo for women to vocalize their sexual desires. The artists shame the societal pressures of it and encourage women to speak up. The song stayed 20 weeks on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop chart and peaked at positon 16. "Girls Need Love" is three-times platinum by the RIAA.

4. Back Home Trey Songz ft. Summer Walker

22Back-Home22-Trey-Songz-ft.-Summer-Walker.jpgInterscope/LVRN

Trey Songz recruited Walker for his summer of 2020 hit "Back Home." The track is the lead single off of Songz's eitgth album of the same name. "Back Home" is about how a relationship might not be the best for either party but they still find their way "back home" to one another. During the hook, Songz interlopes New Edition's 1988 single "If It Isn't Love.""Back Home" gave Walker her first No. 1 hit and Songz's third on the Adult R&B Songs airplay chart.

3. "Unloyal" ft. Ari Lennox, 'Still Over It', (2021)

Over-It-2019-copy-4.jpgInterscope/LVRN

In this track, Walker and R&B singer Ari Lennox croon about putting yourself first which at times can look "unloyal" to the outside. The jazz-tempered track highlights both singer's natural ability to evoke emotion and unshamelessly show their vulnerability with their listeners. The song stayed on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop chart for 14 weeks and peaked at position No. 10. The two performed this song for the first time together at the 2021 BET Soul Train Awards.

2. "Playing Games" ft. Bryson Tiller, 'Over It', (2019)

Over-It-2019-copy-5.jpgInterscope/LVRN

In "Playing Games" Walker sings about how she feel unappreciated and no longer wants to warrant any more disrespect from her man. The track was the lead single for her album 'Over It.' She recorded an extended version of the song featuring an additional verse from Bryson Tiller for the album. The sultry ballad interpolates Destiny's Child's 1999 hit "Say My Name." "Playing Games" peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop chart and stayed for 33 weeks. The song currently sits at three-times platinum by the RIAA since its release.

1. "No Love" ft. SZA, 'Still Over It', (2021)

Still-Over-It-2021-copy-2.jpgInterscope/LVRN

"No Love" is about unrequited love and Walker and SZA are done with it all. The two decide that they want to stay emotionally detached from their exes and just want the physical benefits of keeping them around. SZA croons, "I would give like ten percent/You deserve like half of that/I'ma need my money back" while Walker sings on the chorus: "But if I had you back, all I wanna do is f--- (F---)/ Get drunk (Get drunk)/take drugs (Take drugs)/(F--- love)." 18 out of the 20 tracks debuted on the Hot 100 the following week, with this song, at No.13, the highest entry. An extended of the version of the song featuring Cardi B dropped on March 25, 2022.
