Social Media reacts to the Montgomery Riverfront Dock Brawl in Alabama
On Saturday, August 5th, the internet exploded when a video emerged of a big brawl at a riverfront in Montgomery Alabama.
It started when a black dock attendant was trying to tell the owners of a boat they were docked in the wrong area and they needed to move so a riverboat could dock.
Instead of complying the occupants of the boat, who were white, decided to attack the dock attendant. Upon seeing this the patrons on the riverboat, who were black, expressed their disappointment with the attack and soon after the boat docked went to the attendants’ aid. Obviously, social media took this viral moment and did what they do best…make memes. Check these out.
